Dr. Lauten is a native of Mobile, AL and a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he was summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He attended South Alabama College of Medicine on Scholarship and later returned to Vanderbilt for his residency in Ophthalmology. He completed a 2-year Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his stay in Birmingham, he was the attending for the Callahan Eye Emergency Department and Birmingham Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and presently resides in Hattiesburg, MS with his wife, Anna, and his three daughters Murphy, Lanier, and Mary Wright.

Cornelius “Neil” E. Regan Jr. is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Regan then moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. He returned to New Orleans to work at the Neuroscience Center at LSUHSC where he worked in various labs researching neurological and ophthalmological diseases focusing on disorders of the retina. Afterwards, he earned his medical degree at the Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans. Post-graduate training consisted of an internship in general surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA and a residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Following his residency, Dr. Regan completed his fellowship at Charles Retina Institute located in Germantown, TN, just outside of Memphis.

Dr. Allison is native of Birmingham, AL, and a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Allison continued his education with an internship at Baptist Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Following this, he pursued a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Sciences in Houston, Texas, where he distinguished himself as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he undertook a rigorous two-year Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at the same institution, further specializing in his field. Dr. Allison is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He and his wife, Dr. Ashley Allison, a fellow physician specializing in dermatopathology, share their lives with their two children, Ciara and Thomas.

Dr. Richardson is a native of Hattiesburg, MS. After completing his education at Oak Grove High School, he attended Mississippi State University. He completed a Masters of Biomedical Science at University of Mississippi Medical Center while working in the Vitreoretinal Department with multiple clinical research publications. He received his medical degree from William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg where he was selected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and was selected Chief Resident. He finished his training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Vitreoretinal Surgery. He was also the attending for the Callahan Emergency Department, Lion’s Eye Clinic, and Veterans Affairs Hospital. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and has returned home to practice in Hattiesburg with his wife Anne Eastland and three sons Mac, James, and Woods.

He returned to the University of Mississippi for medical school, whilst being selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Fitzpatrick attended Vanderbilt University completing his residency in Ophthalmology. There, he served as Chief Resident. He is completing a 2-year Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at Austin Retina Associates in Austin TX. Outside of work, Dr. Fitzpatrick enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife Madeline.
